Community Involvement & Sponsorship
In North America, billions of plastic bags are used once by consumers and then thrown away. To help reduce waste and keep the environment clean, Davis Orthodontics is providing patients with the new environmentally friendly Insulated Polyfabric Bag. These bags are made from 100% recycled materials and are designed to be re-usable.
The bags are incredibly strong, maintain their shape and are insulated which allow you to carry your refrigerated or frozen groceries. If you have not received your bag yet, drop by the office to pick one up, while quantities last.
Davis Orthodontics is a proud supporter of Plan Canada and on behalf of our patients, their family and friends; we have sponsored a child by the name of Jose Gregorio serrano Mejia. Jose lives in the community Laguna Verde, Honduras and was born June 20, 1998. Jose's family lives in a house made of adobe with tile and slate roof. His father, Jose, is a peasant farmer and his mother, Maria, is a housewife. Jose attends primary school and it takes him less than 30 minutes to reach school.

Adopt-A-Park
Davis Orthodontics has proudly adopted Velmar Downs Park, located in Woodbridge. It is our way to demonstrate our commitment to the environment and the community that we all live and work in. We organized a clean up day on May 1st where our staff volunteered their time to pick up the litter at Velmar Downs Park to keep the park clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy. Adopt-A-Road
Staff donate their time to show their commitment to the environment and the community by helping to remove roadside litter twice a year. The adopted road location is Bathurst Street between Major Mackenzie Drive West and Elgin Mills Road West.
The Terry Fox Run
Annually staff at Davis Orthodontics lace up their shoes to help find a cure for cancer. They participate in the Terry Fox Run held in Richmond Hill and Woodbridge.
